THE IMPACT OF A MID-SEMESTER SURVEY
A story from my first semester teaching.

When I began teaching Calculus 1 at UGA back in 2016,  I was assigned to teach three sections of a course I had never taught before, Calculus 1. 


I made many mistakes. 


I was only about 2-3 days ahead of my students in lecture preparation. The semester was far from perfect. 


But here's the twist: despite the chaos, my end-of-semester evaluations were off the charts positive!
